The Inter-Religious Council of Peace Tanzania
IRCPT is an affiliate of the international coalition, Religions for Peace, and in Tanzania acts as the forum for traditional and international religious groups in the country.
IRCPT implements the project through the Tanzania Women Interfaith Network (TWIN) to scale up the religious body’s response to HIV/AIDS prevention, OVC care and support, and home-based care and economic development for people living with HIV. Ten operational areas cover 11 districts across Tanzania
IRCPT works with the African Council of Religious Leaders. Religions for Peace is the largest international coalition of representatives from the world’s great religions dedicated to promoting peace.
